Description

We are recruiting a Night Shift Transport Planner to work for our large Client based in Spalding.

You must have a minimum of 1 years Transport Planning experience

Your duties will include:

Plan and manage a section of the fleet.
Ensure requirements of the transport plan are fully met.
Utilise the fleet to its maximum capacity.
Use backhauls as and when necessary.
Liaise with customers and staff.
Ensure all servicing arrangements and MOTs are met.
Ensure all drivers adhere to and comply with driver's hours and working time regulations.
Schedule transport movements for third party hauliers as required.
Ensure schedules are communicated to drivers in a timely manner.
Work to build good relationships with drivers, suppliers, and consumers.
