Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 6am - 5pm Weekend working required (1 in every 3).

Flexibility required as On Call cover provided x 2 a week and when required in line with the operational needs of the business.


Qualifications and skills required:


  • IT and Organisation skills are essential
  • Business admin qualification are desired but not essential
  • Full Uk Drivers License
  • Level 3 NVQ in health and social care (or equivalent)


THC Care is a domiciliary care provider who specialise in delivering quality, person centred care to people living in the Sandwell and Dudley areas.

We are currently looking for an experienced care co-ordinator to join our team.


As a care Coordinator, Your will work mainly at head office, But may be required to assist with care calls in the case of an emergency, For this reason, Having a full UK Drivers license and access to your own vehicle is essential to take on this role.


As a Care Coordinator with THC care, your main responsibility will be to organise, Coordinate and supervise the deployment of care services within the agency.

You will develop effective working relationships with both the registered manager and Home Care Workers and ensure the day to day care runs smoothly.


Your other duties as a care coordinator include:

  • Participate in the Maintenance of the Agency's Management information Systems.
  • Systematically solve day to day problematical issue which arise.
  • Create and uphold an open, Positive and inclusive Management Culture
  • Ensure that the care services are delivered to service users at the correct time and duration specified in the relevant individual agreements.
  • Manage travel delays and staff shortages to mitigate to the fullest extent possible, the impact on the service user, Managing and minimising their distress and insecurity in such situations.
  • Assist in the assessment of the effectiveness of Care implementation and delivery.
  • Ensure that the Care service is delivered in a safe and personcentred manner.
  • Ensure that Service User rights are protected.
  • Evaluate standards of Care competence.
  • Promote a positive image for the services provided and employment within the Agency.
  • Any other reasonable duties set out by your line manager
