About the role

As Income Team Leader you will manage the Committee Finance Team to ensure all income is accurately processed according to agreed deadlines and adequately controlled.

You will Lead the financial and accountancy support to Macmillan's volunteer fundraising groups
("committees"), and various aspects of Income processing and management. Ensure the prompt and accurate processing of income, development and implementation of robust financial controls and maintenance of audit trails and support internal and external
stakeholders by providing relevant and accurate information on time.


Organised and professional, you will have good communication skills and an ability to deal with people across the Financial Operations Team, the wider organisation and external stakeholders.

You will be an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with a strong willingness to learn and develop your skills.

  • Strong bank reconciliation skills with the ability to manipulate, analyse and investigate complex data

  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience of working in a multitask environment, prioritizing and organising a variety of tasks
  • Management Experience, including line management and leadership of a team
