    Job description: Are you a passionate and experienced Nursery Room Leader?


If so, I am working with a lovely nursery in Birmingham, who would love you to become part of their happy team.

Each day you'll have the opportunity to bring fun, joy, smiles and laughter to the children whilst providing safe, high quality education, care and positive outcomes for each child.


At this setting, they embrace natural learning environments, a forest school approach to the great outdoors and learning through play.

Whilst they focus on professional development ensures that, you will be able to grow, flourish and reach your full potential.

Standard working hours are 40 hrs per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday, around the current shift system.


Essential:

  • CACHE level 3, NVQ level 3, EYFS or equivalent
  • A minimum of 23 years post qualifying experience in a full day care setting.
  • Experience as a room leader
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
  • Knowledge and experience of Ofsted standards, child development and EYFS.
  • Excellent communication and IT skills.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Paediatric first aid

Desirable :

Level 2 in leadership and management A higher level qualification in Early Years Childcare and education/childcare studies or equivalent.

safeguarding lead or SENCO qualifications.

familiar with online learning journal systems, specifically Family
