Description

As a Pensions and Investments Administrator, you will play a crucial role in a local independent financial advisers by managing and administering various aspects of pension schemes and investment accounts.

Your attention to detail, analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively will contribute to the smooth operation of pension and investment processes.

Your role will involve liaising with clients, financial advisors and internal teams to ensure accurate and compliant management of client assets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the pensions and investments advisers and paraplanners
  • Prepare client packs for annual reviews and timely processing of any requirements from returned packs
  • Communicate with clients, financial advisers and providers to enable timely responses to their enquiries
  • Maintain a good understanding of relevant industry regulations and compliance requirements (ongoing support provided)
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records for pension and investment accounts
  • Regularly review data for accuracy and address any discrepancies
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining documentation related to pension and investment processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word for written communications
  • Basic understanding of financial markets and interest in investment products and pension schemes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Prior experience in a financial services or an administrative role is desired.
