    We are seeking an exceptional Paediatric Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team at King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

    About the Role

    This exciting opportunity is for a highly specialist paediatric physiotherapist to provide leadership and expertise in the management of acute respiratory conditions, including babies and children in PICU, medical respiratory conditions, paediatric orthopaedic problems, post-elective surgery, and Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV) patients.

    The successful postholder will be responsible for clinical leadership and service development within the paediatric physiotherapy services at King's College Hospital, shaping these services to respond to growing and changing clinical landscapes and the development of more advanced care options.

    Key responsibilities include providing supervision and clinical support to the inpatient acute paediatric physiotherapy team and students, governance of the services, developing and delivering paediatric physiotherapy as per NICE guidance and other relevant standards, and working with other paediatric therapy teams to ensure a high-quality, effective, and efficient service to patients presenting with all types of conditions.

    Our ideal candidate will have a degree or other recognised qualification in Physiotherapy, working at a Masters level, HCPC Registered, Postgraduate training and experience in paediatrics and/or infants, Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), and MSc in a clinically relevant or related area.

    Requirements

    • Significant post-graduate paediatric experience, including PICU, post-surgical, neurology, NIV, Major Trauma, musculoskeletal and orthopaedics
    • Specialist experience in the physiotherapy management of acute respiratory paediatrics, including PICU
    • Highly specialist knowledge and experience of complex paediatric conditions in both acute and chronic presentations
    • Understanding of NHS Structure and current issues, including the role of physiotherapists in evolving healthcare environments

    What We Offer

    An estimated salary of £61,927 - £68,676 per year, pro rata, plus benefits, including a pension scheme and opportunities for professional development.
