Responsibilities:

Maintain High Standard of Work:
- Ensure the correctness of data used in simulations.
- Fully assess data as required for the simulation process.
Continuous Improvement:
- Actively seek opportunities to improve working methods and optimize processes.
- Communicate suggestions for improvement to the lead engineer.
- Ensure robust delivery is maintained while implementing improvements.
Alignment with PCDS Freezes:
- Work within the defined phases aligned to PCDS freezes.
- Conduct Trim and Final
- Human Simulation on the latest Design Intent (LDI) data, unless specified otherwise.
Study Process:
- Simulation Lead allocates studies to Simulation Engineers.
- Engage with the study 'owner' (usually Process or Product Engineer) to fully understand the scope and intent of the study.
- Identify any issues preventing the simulation (e.g., unavailable Product or Tooling CAD) and communicate them to the Simulation Lead.
Data Collection and Study Environment:
- Collate CAD and Process data, including relative Bill of Process (BOP) standards/guidelines.
- Use collected data to build the study environment for simulations.
Conducting Studies:
- Conduct simulations using appropriate software/tools.
- Identify and record any issues identified during the study.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Create a report documenting identified issues.
- Share the draft report with the study owner for discussion and feedback.
- Address feedback and discuss possible improvements or solutions.
Finalizing Reports:
- Update the report based on discussions and feedback.
- Send the finalized report to the study 'owner' and any other interested parties.
- Consider the report complete once all necessary updates and discussions are concluded.
Data Management:
- Copy supporting data to the repository.
- Record the health score of the study in the tracker and mark it as completed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in simulation engineering, preferably in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
- Proficiency in relevant simulation software/tools.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Contractual Information:
- The position is a 1year contract based in the United Kingdom.
- Opportunities for contract extension or permanent placement may be considered based on performance and organizational needs.
