Mechanical and Design Engineer - Medical Devices - West Midlands - 35k - 42k
My client specialises in developing innovative medical devices in the West Midlands area.

They're looking for a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer who is experienced and interested in all aspects of product development, including concept generation, prototyping,test, analysis and manufacture.

**Main Duties: **+ 3D CAD design

  • Design from concept through to product launch
  • Prototype & Test Designs
  • Mechanical analysis
  • Research & development
**Key Skills: **+ Strong 3D CAD skills - ideally Solidworks

  • Hands on & practical - Prototype & test designs
  • Industry experience in medical, consumer, electro-mechanical & enclosures
  • Experience in different manufacturing techniques - injection moulding
  • Experience in FEA is beneficial
The salary will be between
£35,000-£42,000depending on experience. There are also
generous benefits packages available
