Role Overview:

As our Supplier Relationship Manager, you will have responsibility for managing our suppliers to ensure that communication is effective and successful relationship are maintained.

You will work collaboratively alongside suppliers to optimise spend, drive commercial efficiencies and drive continuous improvements across the suppliers and vendors to improve the competitiveness of Millgate.


What will you be doing?

Performance- Help marketing team building a pipeline of leads for different campaigns. Passing any qualified leads to the sales team Inbound and outbound call handling Develop and present new ideas on how to generate leads. Gain valuable insight into the customer behaviour, preferences and needs and share with the business. Ensure accurate and up to date records on Netsuite for all leads. Working towards lead targets and KPIs on a monthly basis Close relationships with Account Managers, CRMs and our suppliers/vendors
Development- To proactively gain feedback from others to aid personal development and performance. Identify and undertake any training as part of their continuous professional development. Maintain awareness and keep abreast of the changes in the Technology Sector. Complete partner/supplier training programmes to improve product and market knowledge, but also carry out campaigns effectively and maximise the opportunity. Provide support/guidance to new starters in their team.
Communication- Employ effective communication, negotiation and influencing skills to enable the delivery of all targets and areas of responsibility. Be a role model, demonstrating personal authentic leadership as well as the values of the company. Keep up to date with company news by attendance at team meetings and companywide briefs.
ComplianceComply with the requirements of the companies ISO 9001 Quality Management System which is contained on the company's shared drive. Always comply with the requirements of health and safety regulations to ensure their own wellbeing and that of their colleagues. Always ensure confidentiality, only releasing confidential information in line with the GDPR regulations.
Skills & ExperienceIdeally must have a minimum GCSE in Maths and English Proven track record of success in telesales, ideally sales experience within the IT sector and/or Telecoms. Strong motivation to learn key product knowledge across our 6 Pillars. Excellent communication, with the ability to build and maintain relationships. Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Resilience and persistence in handling objections and rejections Good understanding of IT and Microsoft packages
