About the role

Permanent, Full time

Rotating shift pattern:
Week 1: 5:30am-1:30pm Monday - Friday.

Week 2: 1:30pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 1:30 -7pm Friday.

We are currently looking for a Vehicle Fitter to work in our Paint Shop Area, building our tankers after the painting process has been completed.

You will be working in a team environment and working to a rolling shift pattern.

What you will be doing:

Re-Assembly of tanker components after they have been painted using hand tools and power tools
Work to standard operating procedures and engineering data sheets to complete sub assemblies to then be fitted to our tankers
Use of plant machinery including forklift truck and overhead crane to fit components
Other parts of the process including chassis and component preparation and build strip down will be part of this role
Work to standard operating procedures and engineering data sheets

We'd love to meet someone with:

A proactive approach to problem solving
Previous experience working in a production environment
Ability to use a range of hand and power / pneumatic tools
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Methodical and organised with good time management
