About the role

Permanent, Full time

Rotating shift pattern:
Week 1: 5:30am-1:30pm Monday - Friday.

Week 2: 1:30pm - 10pm Monday to Thursday and 1:30 -7pm Friday.


We are currently looking for a Vehicle Fitter to work in our Paint Shop Area, building our tankers after the painting process has been completed.

You will be working in a team environment and working to a rolling shift pattern.


What you will be doing:


  • Re-Assembly of tanker components after they have been painted using hand tools and power tools
  • Work to standard operating procedures and engineering data sheets to complete sub assemblies to then be fitted to our tankers
  • Use of plant machinery including forklift truck and overhead crane to fit components
  • Other parts of the process including chassis and component preparation and build strip down will be part of this role
  • Work to standard operating procedures and engineering data sheets

We'd love to meet someone with:

  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Previous experience working in a production environment
  • Ability to use a range of hand and power / pneumatic tools
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Methodical and organised with good time management
