About The Role


As a team leader in our warehouse you will be the first point of contact for team members in the achievement of daily targets, set by the management team, with a focus on guiding and developing your team.

Some of the roles you could be doing include:

  • Driving the daily performance of warehouse operatives to achieve or exceed budgeted productivity and quality targets.
  • Implement the daily staffing plan, ensuring optimum output at all times.
  • Deliver training on operational processes including Good Distribution Practice (GDP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Conducting team briefings, training and 121s along with return to work interviews for initial absences
  • Carry out duties in the warehouse such as picking, packing.


By becoming a Warehouse team leader, you will be responsible for leading a team in processing customer orders accurately and efficiently, assuring the in-time delivery of possible life-saving products.


Shift Pattern - We are recruiting a team leader to work 39 Hours per week, on a shift pattern that is rotational.

Rates of Pay - We offer pay of £11.68, made up of basic pay (£3.890) additional shift allowances/night rates. Additional overtime is available.


About You:

To be a team leader with Alliance Healthcare we would value the following skills or knowledge.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment including knowledge of Warehouse and Distribution Processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Excellent time management
  • Previous experience of leading a small team would be highly desirable.


Due to the nature of the position, you will need to be capable of standing and walking for long periods of time as well as bending and lifting in line with Health and Safety Regulations.
