Description
Our client based Southall a leading provider in Tool Hire are currently looking to expand there Procurement team with a Procurement Manager.
They currently have a team of 2 and are looking for someone to report to the Purchasing Manager and delegate responsibilities to the Buyer.
The roles and responsibilities are as follows:
- Liaising with Head of Departments to determine their products and services needs
- Performing all procurement activities including prequalification, negotiating supplier agreements and preparation of contracts.
- Delegating tasks and supervising the work of Purchasing Assistant
- Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
- Managing overall coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisation
- Developing strong relationships with strategic supply chain partners to improve business
- Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
- Previous experience in procurement, buying or supply chain
- Direct Buying
- Procurement for a Tool Hire, Plant Hire, Construction or Engineering company
- CIPS or MCIPS
In return the company are looking to offer the following:
- Working Monday
- Friday 7am until 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break
- Hybrid working 1 day from home 4 days in the office
