Our client based Southall a leading provider in Tool Hire are currently looking to expand there Procurement team with a Procurement Manager.


They currently have a team of 2 and are looking for someone to report to the Purchasing Manager and delegate responsibilities to the Buyer.


The roles and responsibilities are as follows:

  • Liaising with Head of Departments to determine their products and services needs
  • Performing all procurement activities including prequalification, negotiating supplier agreements and preparation of contracts.
  • Delegating tasks and supervising the work of Purchasing Assistant
  • Identifying areas for improvement to continually drive performance and business results
  • Managing overall coordination and evaluation of procurement for the organisation
  • Developing strong relationships with strategic supply chain partners to improve business
  • Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
We do not require any particular qualifications for this role, however previous experience in these areas would be desirable:

  • Previous experience in procurement, buying or supply chain
  • Direct Buying
  • Procurement for a Tool Hire, Plant Hire, Construction or Engineering company
  • CIPS or MCIPS

In return the company are looking to offer the following:

  • Working Monday
  • Friday 7am until 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break
  • Hybrid working 1 day from home 4 days in the office
