_This role could be based in either our Telford or Wythall offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

We're currently recruiting for a Finance Apprentice to join our Finance Operations area to gain work experience which, together with the associated study programme, will allow access to a part qualified Accountant position.

The role

  • This is an excellent opportunity to study for an accountancy qualification whilst learning and developing core finance skills and will also enable the building of a network of contacts across Finance through the rotational programme.
  • Develop knowledge and understanding of the business.
  • Complete specific standard Accountancy and / or analytical functions (including Reconciliations, Preparation of Journals, Investigation of issues and reconciling items, preparation of payment requests, preparing regular and adhoc reports for stakeholders, ownership of small process improvement projects) as assigned by manager.
  • Undertake analysis of business data and reports and draw conclusions.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • To provide feedback on the Apprenticeship Scheme and contribute to its success.
