A global Commodities Trading firm is seeking an experienced Compliance Specialist to support in developing and enhancing their Compliance Programme.

Role Responsibilities;

Identify regulatory compliance risks and implement systems and processes to deliver effective compliance procedures
Run compliance investigations and provide advice and expertise where required
Advise the business on regulatory developments on rules and requirements across EMIR, MiFID, Sanctions, MAR and REMIT rules.
Support the Compliance Manager in a deputy capacity and provide a breadth of oversight where required
Develop improvements of processes and communication around trade monitoring covering market abuse, AML and regulatory requirements
Run Compliance projects where necessary

Role Requirements;

An experienced Compliance professional, ideally in a Commodities Trading or Oil and Gas firm
Strong knowledge of physical or exchange trading from a Compliance perspective
Experience in Compliance monitoring, assessment of compliance risk and developing and enhancing monitoring processes
Strong regulatory understanding across EMIR, MiFID, Sanctions, MAR and REMIT
High attention to detail in regulatory reporting
