SERVICE DESK MANAGER

Permanent:
£45-65k plus Benefits (dependent on experience)


We are currently looking for a Service Desk Manager / Helpdesk Manager for an amazing client of our with over 8,000 staff, and numerous sites.

This role will be crucial in organising and leading teams to deliver excellent service in resolving technologyproblems and delivery of end user computing device needs throughout the business.

You will be passionate about building a great culture and team environment fostering proactivity and best practice.

The successful applicant will possess the following;

  • Track record as Service Desk Manager.
  • Managed teams of 10+ people with Helpdesk and EUC capability. (1st / 2nd line ability)
  • Ideally worked in organisations supporting over 5,000 staff.
  • Familiar with standard Ticketing systems.
  • Manage escalations, service level agreements, drive continuous improvement, manage complex issues, manage and maintain knowledge base and more.
  • Ability to work with the wider teams.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Windows environments, understanding of networks and communication technologies, on prem and cloud solutions.
  • Nice to have's/bonuses ; Linux/SQL Server, Kanban, etc
