About the role
This role is part of a dynamic, fast-growing and entrepreneurial business. As a Finance Assistant, you will provide best in class support to our internal and external customers. This role is critical to producing and maintaining complete, accurate and timely financial information. As a team we work to implement strong financial controls and drive continuous improvement of finance processes. This role requires a keen attention to detail and a "hands-on" approach to managing financial information.


Example Responsibilities

  • Collation of all invoices for approval and payment recommendation
  • Maintaining data within Kefron (Invoice recognition system)
  • Maintaining payment queries from External Administrators and suppliers
  • Support with daily and weekly finance tasks
  • Processing of Finance inbox (i.e. invoices, supplier comms)
  • Assisting the Financial team with bank account reconciliation
  • Supporting the team with various tasks for the preparation of the month end process
  • Support documenting business processes to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Electronic filing of documents through SharePoint and OneDrive
  • Ad Hoc project work
  • Managing reporting deadlines and different priorities
  • Selfstarter, highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Proactively communicates with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adapts to take on new challenges but recognise when to seek guidance.
  • Naturally inquisitive with a cando attitude
