Kier Places are recruiting now for a Cleaner to join our Facilities Management team at Kingsley High School, which forms part of our Harrow Schools contract.

Key Responsibilities

As a Cleaner in this role, you will be required to fulfil cleaning duties within the school building environment, making sure cleanliness and tidiness is maintained at all times.

This will range from surfaces, floor areas, wastage disposal and bathrooms. You'll work in line to COSHH regulations and maintaining high personal hygiene levels. You'll also ensure any pest issues are reported directly to a supervisor or other senior staff member immediately.

What do we need from you?

To get the most out of this role, you should have previous cleaning experience, ideally within a school, office or commercial building, with a solid understanding of the health and safety at work legislation, in particular, operating the highest cleaning standards and operating safely at work, including COSHH & use of cleaning machinery.

You'll be able to prioritise the high-risk areas of cleaning and coordinate tasks accordingly.
