WHAT YOU'LL DO:


As the investment services specialist, you will play an important role in supporting the overall Investment Services (IS) annual agenda.

The team sits under the Global Practices Team and the Client Team function, globally led by Jürgen Lücke and Inés Molina who report to the Chief Client Officer & Chairman, Industry Practices (Tawfik Hammoud)


The Investment Services agenda encompasses:

  • Global Investment Programs (Big Bets, War Chest, Lighthouse.): substantial BCG internal investments aimed at changing our trajectory at companies or topics that are a priority for the business
  • Global Competitive Intelligence efforts: analysis to understand our position vs key competitors for example: Partner footprint analysis, win/loss analysis, general market trends and benchmarking across different functions
  • Client penetration analysis: to understand our position and presence vs top Global Fortune companies and other relevant global listings
  • Client Council and

Focus Client:
global orchestration of our priority clients/targets lists


You will play an important part in shaping the team's agenda, develop analysis, tools and support Practice Areas and Regions as needed to help them execute against Investment targets.

The role requires a strong ability to work closely and effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a collaborative manner.

Superior analytical and organizational skills are essential for this position.


Your day-to-day activities will focus primarily on the delivery and support of the Global Investment program whilst also supporting the Competitive Intelligence topic as needed, but tasks may spread across the overall team agenda depending on priorities.


You will be responsible for the following:

  • Support the overall management of the Global Investment's programs, for example:
- you will lead the tracking of investment requests, supporting the regular reporting of investments and updates as required

  • Support the Big Bet investment program through the preparation of documents, updates, analysis and advising/guiding teams when needed
  • Support on investments, client and competitive intelligence analysis: both planned and adhoc requests
  • Lead on developing and keeping our investments microsite updated with the latest guidelines
  • Help improving existing programs as well as shaping new initiatives, processes, policies and tools
  • Support global meetings as required (PA, Client Team, Executive Committee Meetings, WWOMs )
  • Support crossfunctional, region/office and Practice Area teams on adhoc data needs and deep dives, as requested. Perform other duties and projects as assigned or required

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS):


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business or engineering field
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a management consulting role or other similar fields; BCG experience preferred
  • Strong analytical experience
  • Strong skills in Windows Office (particularly Excel and PowerPoint) Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
