Description
Shire Healthcare are currently sourcing a Speech and Language Therapist to work in three specialist schools.

The successful Speech and Language Therapist will support children and young people aged 5-19 with speech, language and communication needs who present with a specific learning difficulty, ASD or have associated difficulties that create barriers to learning.


The role:

  • Managing and prioritising a small caseload of pupils in three schools based in Wilmslow, StokeonTrent and Wolverhampton
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Conducting assessments
  • Delivering bespoke intervention plans
  • Contributing to staff training in relation to speech, language and communication needs

The ideal Speech and Language Therapist:

  • Holds a relevant Degree/Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy
  • HCPC registered
  • Experience of supporting children and young people with similar needs
  • A full UK driving license and access to a car is required due to the locations

£35,300.00-£41,900.00 per year
