Executive Assistant / Nuneaton, Warwickshire / up to £27,000 / Full-time / 12 month FTC

Flexibility to work from home - but not exclusively:


  • Hours: 8:30am
  • 3pm (with flexibility to work later when needed)
Do you have experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant (preferably within the education sector)?

Macildowie are pleased to be partnered with an educational organisation based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire, who are on the look-out for an Executive Assistant to assist the Principal on a 12-month fixed-term contractas maternity cover.


You will need (all essential):


  • Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, and GCSE in English and Maths (essential)
  • Experience working as a PA or EA to a senior Manager/leader
  • An understanding of schools/colleges/universities
  • An understanding of Safeguarding, and a commitment to confidentiality
  • Working with a variety of educational software systems including MIS systems
  • An ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders
  • Principle, agencies, parents/carers, Governors, Staff etc.)
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision using own initiative, recording written and numerical information accurately and reliably
  • Ability to manage teams, meet deadlines, plan effectively, work under pressure and prioritise workloads, as well as understanding comprehensive documents and relay information correctly
  • Experience attending meetings and taking minutes

Responsibilities:


  • Deal effectively and proactively with enquiries either in person or over telephone
  • Prioritise issues accordingly and bring to the attention of the Executive Director or other relevant contacts
  • Maintain the Principal's diaries, arranging and confirming commitments with external and internal stakeholders, ensuring appropriate documents required for meetings is made readily available
  • Produce a variety of documents using a range of Microsoft Office software
  • Prepare complex documentation to support key events, including preparation of documents and reports required by external stakeholders
  • Ensure effective filing systems (paper and electronic) are in place
  • Organise travel, accommodation and appropriate conference bookings on behalf of the Principal
