KS1 Class Teaching Assistant
- Supporting a class in either Year 1 or Year
- Performing reading & writing interventions
- Helping students on various learning levels and needs (including working with SEN/SEMH)
- Creating a holistic & progressive learning environment while liaising with professionals (e.g. SENCo, Class Teacher, Educational Psychologists, Headteacher etc)
Our Ideal KS1 Class Teaching Assistant:
- Brings prior experience (either professional or personal) engaging with children with various needs including SEN & SEMH
- Holds aspirations of shaping young minds as an educator in the future
- Strong academic background
- A-Levels, Btec, Degree etc
- Local to Islington (Open to individuals who live in Camden, Haringey, Hackney & Islington)
- Beneficial for
aspiring Primary Teachers
