About the Role
Collaborating with our supply chain partners and senior internal stakeholders, the TAL will be responsible for coordinating and driving technically appropriate solutions in line with TOTEX values to ensure the delivery of sustainable, risk-based and affordable solutions.
Throughout the early lifecycle gateways the TAL will draw on their range and depth of experience to review, assess and robustly challenge solution development and design in line with industry best practices, internal Specifications & Standards, and innovative technologies.
Technical assurance, feedback and guidance will also be provided throughout the full project lifecycle where required, including during detailed design and acceptance, commissioning, and handover.
Working as part of the Leadership team and in support of our overall business objectives you will contribute to the vision, strategic direction and continuous development of the technical assurance function and wider Engineering team.
As a direct line manager to a small team of Technical Assurance Engineers (TAE), you will support their objectives, well-being and continuous professional development demonstrating our values through exemplary leadership and behaviours to maximise team potential.
You will promote our value added and achievements both internally and externally whilst also fostering relationships with industry and academic partners to help develop early careers and the growth of new talent in the region.
About you
You will be a proven, chartered technical professional with experience of designing / delivering complex water and wastewater projects. You will be resilient and able to demonstrate effective leadership, excellent communications skills, and commitment to company values.
