Our services include the sale, hire, calibration and repair of survey and safety equipment including laser levels, total stations, theodolites, GPS survey equipment, machine control, cable detectors, gas detectors and much, much more.

One point survey is looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our growing team.

The job role requires no initial qualifications but wiliness to learn off our experienced technicians in all aspects of maintaining surveying and safety equipment.

Cleaning of instruments and their boxes, from jet washer to fine brushes
Learning how to use the equipment
Labelling the equipment
Testing and fault finding
Health and safety training in chemical use
Using our inhouse booking system
Ad hock duties
Training towards the basic servicing and calibration of equipment
Training course opportunities

Must be keen to learn, have initiative, enjoy working with tools, working with others and a drive to learn the different servicing and calibration methods which are followed by strict guidelines advised to us from the manufactures.

Following an initial probation period, we would look at what training avenues would be best suited for you to follow in various manufacturing courses to boost your understanding within the workshop duties.

These courses can be taken in house but may also require visits to manufacture learning facilities which can be within the UK and Europe.
