Description

The Senior Business Consultant delivers end to end projects, from design through to implementation, working closely with client stakeholders and team members to develop solutions within the agreed scope and budget.

Responsible for overall engagement objectives, work plan and deliverables, delegating tasks and supervising the work of Business Consultants.

Leads multiple deliverables/project team with responsibility for delivering to plan (scope, quality and time).

Shapes and delivers projects, runs projects beginning-to-end in challenging environments independently and drives the team to deliver once the project has been shaped.

Manages own work stream or project (depending on size) relatively independently.
Leads deliverables/streams to time and quality (e.g., prioritising and organising activities appropriately).
Uses appropriate frameworks applies appropriate implementation approach, shows full understanding of delivery concepts, tools and methodologies offered, and can select/ implement them
Some people management responsibilities
Client delivery and utilisation, securing direct billable work
Building strong relationships both internally and externally
Supporting knowledge management initiatives
Contributing to client value proposition development
Taking ownership of own development and learning as part of competency model
