Team Leader/Trainer in Fire Safety

Permanent role

Monday to Friday - upto 40 hours per week

The Cotswolds, however, do not need to reside in the location, as for this role you can also reside anywhere in the UK and then stay free of charge in paid for accommodation, but can go home on a Thursday evening or Friday morning to see family etcor can stay in the accommodation fully

**Job role:
- **We are seeking a Fire Safety Team Leader

Regulator

Managing 12 staff such as Fire Safety Instructors/Trainers

Monitoring and managing performance and development

Succession planning

One to one meetings/reviews

Conducting observations of staff in a teaching environment

Liaising with Awarding Bodies

Provide internal quality assurance of completed learner assignments and assessor feedback

Delivering level 3, 4 and 5 Fire safety related programmes to a range of customers including Fire/rescue services, public and private sector clients

Facilitation of virtual course delivery

Developing lessons plans, assessment plans, varied learning materials

Providing coaching/mentoring to delegates

Liaising with customer for the development of bespoke training courses

Essential experience for the role:

Must have knowledge of fire legislation

2 years experience of working within a Regulatory fire safety department (eg FRS, MOD, Local Authority)

Managerial or team leader experience in either FRS or private sector

Ideally hold an Assessor qualification or teaching qualification
