Maintenance Person - Flexible Hours

The brand new Manor Park Hotel East Ham is a 59-bedroom venue with state-of-the-art technology combined with large comfortable rooms, breakfast area and communal spaces.

We are looking for a enthusiastic, flexible and reliable Maintenance Person that can look after our hotel and ensure it is kept in tip top condition so our guests can have an enjoyable stay.

Ensuring our hotel is looking great at all times and fixing any maintenance issues that may arise.

We offer flexibility for the role of 20hrs per week.

You will be responsible for the following:

Ownership of all Health & Safety & Maintenance compliance tasks
Responsible to track and record all Health & Safety & Maintenance items
Complete reactive maintenance jobs on property
Assist with planned preventative maintenance including budgets and forecasting
Conducting Site Inspections & identifying areas that require maintenance work
Coordinating external contractor site visits and on site maintenance work whilst ensuring relevant safety measures and processes are completed

What you'll require:

Strong maintenance management experience in the hotel sector desirable

Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical & electrical systems & works

Confidence managing multiple projects

Ability to work on their own

Cool, calm & collected communications skills

Eye for detail

Timekeeping & time management that is on point

Competent & confident IT skills for relevant property management software

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20-24 per week

Salary:
£11.50 per hour
