Reporting to the Head of Airside. This role will require the individual to carry out any duties documented in our dispatcher job description. To assist the Operations Supervisor in the day-to-day running of the Operations department. You will be the first point of contact to the station for all customers and airport.

You will be responsible for co-ordinating and allocating staff and resources to fulfil our service standards for our Customer Airlines.

You will ensure that our dispatch role is delivered safely, on time and consistently in line with service level standards set for both on time and station performance.

To influence and facilitate the consistent delivery of a "World Class" product to our Airline Customers.

Main accountabilities include


Operations

  • Provide a professional line of communication for internal and external stakeholders for the station, ensuring all relevant information is retained and passed accurately.
  • Manage the recording and billing for airline customers in RSMS, ensuring all billable services are entered in a timely manner for each airline.
  • Maintaining a good understanding of all operating systems in the operations department.
  • Supervise the proper maintenance of flight files, auditing as necessary.
  • Ensure all airline operational requirements are met, requesting flight plans & delivering them to stand should this be needed, movement & delay messages are sent and airline systems are updated and referred to.
  • To consistently deliver the highest possible level of customer service.
  • Ensure that we have clear and precise communication with flight crews and other third party's so airline target times are met.
  • Manage RSMS & Airlink so that all information is accurate and documented in a timely manner so to assist other third parties.
  • Supervise and Monitor signals that are required to be sent to Airlines.
  • Responsible for ensuring the airlines product is delivered consistently to demanding service level standards and on time performance targets to our customer airlines.
  • Communication with all departments about delays or changes in slot times.
  • To be proactive in all areas by forward planning and taking responsibility for the job in hand.
  • Responsible for supervising the dispatch role ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.


Fully comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 when carrying out your duties, ensuring safety is never compromised.


  • To follow all processes involved in AAA & DGR Regulations.
  • Full compliance and implementation at all times of the following:
  • Airline Handling Manuals
  • Airports Disruption Management Policy
  • Customer Service Promise
  • Communications Promise
  • Safeguard the health, safety and welfare of staff, customers and other visitors as required in full compliance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy.
  • To process in a professional and confident way any questions, queries or grievances
  • Any other reasonable duty as requested.
  • Adhere to the company uniform standards that are in place.
  • Adhere to the company absence management procedures that are in place.
  • Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Airside or other members of the Management team (only if trained).

Qualifications and experience

  • Good verbal communication.
  • A full 5 year work/unemployment/education history.
