About the opportunity:
We have are currently looking for an Inspire Tutor to join our growing Everton in the Community team.


Everton in the Community are a leading provider of early intervention programmes that shape the futures of thousands of young people at risk of underachieving their potential, disengaging from school or engaged in crime or antisocial behaviour.


  • This role will contribute to the strategy outlined under Everton in the Community's Impact model of delivering Education, Community and Support programmes to engage, inspire and motivate young people to make positive choices and to achieve their potential.

Other key responsibilities will include:
To organise and deliver a varied menu of club and school-based alternative educational programmes that include Enterprise, Community Action programmes, World of Work events, PSHE, short pathway programmes and other bespoke provision to targeted secondary school children across the Liverpool City Region. To inspire and motivate young people aged between 11 and 18 identified as being at risk due to disengagement from learning, low self-esteem, vulnerable to exploitation, at risk of being NEET or achieving their potential. To work closely with key link workers, support workers and transitional workers to ensure delivery of programmes are coordinated appropriately.- Safeguarding_- To understand the Club's Safeguarding policy, procedures, and best practice guidelines. To use this understanding to ensure safe working practices, appropriate reporting of concerns and contribute positively to an Anti-bullying environment

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an individual who can demonstrate experience in developing session plans and schemes of work, who is confident to manage challenging student behaviours, can adapt to different styles of learning and can motivate and inspire young people to achieve their potential.

This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about supporting young people and their education.

Other key Knowledge and Skills will include:

  • Experience of developing session plans and schemes of work.-
  • Knowledge of different learning styles.-
  • Experience of delivering classroom based sessions to year olds-
  • Experience of managing challenging student behaviours.
  • A valid UK driving licence is essential for this role as you will be travelling across the city of Liverpool to various sites to support when needed.
The closing date of this advert is Friday 31st March 202- This position will be offered on a 12 month fixed term basis
