An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, highly motivated and enthusiastic midwife to work within the intrapartum team.

As a Delivery Suite coordinator, you will work in partnership with other band 7 coordinators and matrons delivering a high standard of care that is evidence based and meets local and national guidelines.

You will work closely with obstetric colleagues and members of the maternity team delivering a quality service to meet the needs of women with complex needs.

In this, role you will be expected to demonstrate strong clinical and leadership skills within the intrapartum arena. You will work closely with the ward manager and the existing Band 7 coordinators.

You must be able to demonstrate that you have sound clinical knowledge base, expertise and a passion for promoting normality within the complex care setting.

We arelooking for someone who understands the role of managing a shift and can delegate and lead the demands of the wider maternity service.


An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, self-motivated individual who aspires to take on an active leadership role within the High risk Intrapartum area.

The post will include both day and night duty.

We are looking for a skilled midwife who is at least 5 years post registration experience and has had recent intrapartum experience to come and join our team.


You will be expected to be able to discuss how you would introduce an innovation or service development that would improve the care women received during childbirth this would include knowledge of change and challenges involved.
