Description

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate and uptodate financial records using accounting software such as LEAP and Xero.
  • Process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices. check prepared invoices and statements on production in a timely fashion
  • Make lodgements on when received basis
  • Posting to accounts management system [double entry accounting]
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Attend to VAT Return quarterly and budget for payment
  • Assist Principal with budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Monitor and analyse financial data to identify trends and discrepancies.
  • Lead and collaborate with other staff to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
  • Assist with yearend audits and tax preparation.
  • Prepare for and assist with regular Regulatory Inspections negotiate suppliers accounts as an when Contracts determine to get best rate

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software such as Sage, or Xero.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with basic accounting principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
