Small Plant Fitter - Billingham, United Kingdom - Turbo Tool Hire

Due to continued growth we are searching for an additional mechanical fitter to join our team. Turbo Tool Hire, based in Billingham, provides both plant, tool hire and sales to construction companies, sub contractors and DIY'ers across the North of England and beyond

As a member of the Turbo Tool Hire fitter team you will be working with and repairing small plant machinery and tools with the occasional larger plant requiring maintenance.

Daily Duties:

• Preparing equipment ready for hire
• Inspecting and processing off hire equipment and cleaning when necessary
• Fault finding and diagnostic of faulty machinery and tools
• Maintaining a tidy and safe working environment
• Working closely as a team with other staff members

_Pay is negotiable, depending on experience (£12.50 minimum)_

Other Occasional Duties:

• May be required to deliver / collect plant machinery to various customers and sites
• General yard maintenance

Essential requirements:

• Excellent knowledge and understanding of small plant machinery and hand tools
• NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of diesel and petrol engines
• Good Knowledge of power tools and small plant machinery

Desired but not essential:

• Full clean UK driver licences**:
• **Knowledge of using Syrinx inventory management
