Shifts available 7 days per week - Including Long Days, Nights and Weekends.

£35-40 per hour Umbrella ( Can also be paid via PAYE/LTD if preferred )

Applicant Requirements:


  • NMC Registered Nurse
  • Right to work in the UK (without sponsorship)
  • Prison experience and recent security vetting

RGN - Prison Nurse

Key Responsibilities:


  • The post holder will undertake risk assessments, devise written plans of care, liaise with and refer to, any appropriate individual, agency or service that can meet the patient's needs.
  • Undertake comprehensive health care needs assessment of patients, reassessing as appropriate.
  • Administer medication in line with NMC guidelines.
  • Respond to emergency calls, assess patients condition in an emergency situation and provide appropriate care and referral.
  • Deliver effective, safe and high standards of care that it is within clinical competences.
  • Adhere to all security regulations within the prison.
