We are seeking to recruit a Democratic Officer to join our Democratic Services team on a fixed term basis for 12 months.

In this role you will support the Council's formal decision-making process through administration of Council and Committee meetings, which will include supporting the Chair, taking minutes, giving advice regarding the Council's Constitution and the preparation and presentation of reports.

You will also assist the Senior Democratic Officer with maintenance and development of the Council's online committee management pages.

The postholder will be required to attend evening meetings. The post is politically restricted.

Desirable criteria from the person specification may be used for sifting purposes.

Closing date is 8 th December 2023 at 9.00 a.m. Interview's will be held week commencing 11th December 2023
