You will be joining my client in Insurance, Pensions & Investments working in Embark for our technology teams which drive the technology solutions and enables the business to maintain the highest levels of service to our clients whilst fully adhering to all regulatory standards and requirements.

WORKING PATTERN:
Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites
About this opportunity
Do you have a passion for people, technology and problem solving? We are seeking to recruit a talented leader & project manager with experience in technology to take a combined team coach, project management & lead developer role for our new technology training program, The Dundee Technology School.
This is a 12-month secondment role where you will help shape the programme with internal & external stakeholders, owning the key strategic relationships with have with our training partners and funding providers as well as working across the Group to grow and develop the programme into a leading capability provider across the Group.
You will also lead the annual intake of 10-15 entry-level developers as they complete their 32-week training, providing coaching, guidance & technical support.
The junior developers will be learning coding languages such as HTML, CSS and learning about UI & UX, skills that you should already have experience of.
What you'll need:
You should be familiar with working in agile based environments and delivering in a sprint-based delivery approach. You will have a passion for understanding our customers' needs and creating repeatable innovative technology-based solutions.
You will be working cross functionally to work with SMEs, Business Analysts and Solution Architects to understand requirements and technical design.

Emphasises the importance of learning, encourages people to build new skills and provides opportunities for them to develop. Provides in-the-moment coaching, development activities and stretch goals.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manoeuvre comfortably through complex policy, process, and people-related organisational dynamics to enlist widespread support for critical goals.
Experience working within Financial ServicesDundee located as your team will need support from you on a daily basis.
