What you'll be doing

Hodder Education is looking for an Editorial Project Co-ordinator to work on textbooks, workbooks and digital materials for primary and secondary markets.


  • Ensure that milestone dates on allocated projects are met, liaising with other key team members
  • Ensure projects conform to the agreed quality standards
  • Control and monitor spending against project budget
  • Select, brief and monitor performance of freelancers
  • Proofread cover copy and check cover briefs supplied; brief text designs for existing designs
  • Prepare picture research and illustration briefs; check artworks; make or approve photo selections
  • Hand over final edited manuscript, briefs and images to typesetter
  • Check and circulate proofs
  • Create, edit and manage digital content. Upload assets, including audio, video and eBook files
  • Clear copyright permissions
