What you'll be doing

Hodder Education is looking for an Editorial Project Co-ordinator to work on textbooks, workbooks and digital materials for primary and secondary markets.

Ensure that milestone dates on allocated projects are met, liaising with other key team members
Ensure projects conform to the agreed quality standards
Control and monitor spending against project budget
Select, brief and monitor performance of freelancers
Proofread cover copy and check cover briefs supplied; brief text designs for existing designs
Prepare picture research and illustration briefs; check artworks; make or approve photo selections
Hand over final edited manuscript, briefs and images to typesetter
Check and circulate proofs
Create, edit and manage digital content. Upload assets, including audio, video and eBook files
Clear copyright permissions
