Description
IMC Locums are recruiting for a Band 2/3 Phlebotomist South Essex

Pay rate:
Umbrella and PAYE payments available

£12- £14 per hour

  • To use technique of venipuncture and special procedures for particular tests
  • To ensure the reagents are prepared, stored and used in the manner suitable for patient investigation.
  • Receiving, checking and allocating laboratory accession numbers for specimens brought to the Pathology reception.
- label all samples in line with the laboratory Standard Operating Procedures

  • Be responsible for disposing sharps and clinical waste according to Trust policies

Position Requirements

  • Must have phlebotomy certification
  • Customer service skills
- professional manner

  • Band 2/
  • Minimum 6 months experience
