Vehicle Damage Assessor

Location:
Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 3SB

Salary:
Up to £32,000 - Total OTE £35,000

Full Time and Permanent

Working hours:
Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm with 1 hour lunch

1 in 3 Saturdays 8am - 12pm

Our client has a turnover of approximately 250 million and employs over 700 members of staff across 12 dealerships and 1 dedicated service centre.

Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the automotive industry? Our Client is seeking a talented Vehicle Estimator to join their team in Stockton-on-Tees.

If you have an eye for precision and enjoy assessing and valuating vehicle damage, this role is the perfect fit for you.

As a Vehicle Estimator, your role will be crucial in evaluating and estimating the cost of vehicle repairs and services.

You will play a key role in ensuring accurate and transparent communication with customers, insurance companies and our service team.

Responsibilities:

Inspect vehicles to assess the extent of damage and required repairs.
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for repair work
Consult with customers and insurance companies to explain estimates and repair processes
Ensure the use of genuine and highquality parts and materials
Maintain clear and organised records of estimates and repair orders.
Previous experience in a similar role.
A team player with a cando attitude
Confident delivery of accurate vehicle repair estimates.
Knowledge of Audatex, Escribe and PAS 10125 are essential.
Ability to work well under pressure and in a fastpaced environment
Up to date knowledge of vehicle repair techniques.
Be committed to achieve complete customer satisfaction
Help achieve sales targets
Ensure work is completed to a high standard at all times
