Up To £45,000.00
We are looking for a motivated engineer to join a market leading renewable energy and recycling plant.

Reporting directly to the maintenance manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running.

You will be involved in allaspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation.

With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team ofengineers.

The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.


Role Description

  • Maintenance and repair of a range of mechanical plant, a good knowledge of Pneumatics & Hydraulics
  • Good knowledge of all pump types (centrifugal, positive displacement, selfpriming etc.)
  • Completion of Planned Preventative Maintenance activities
  • Undertaking surveys and reports as required.
  • To evaluate performance and ensure the proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract to the company is carried out.
  • To be able to carry out a reasonable standard of welding, MMA & MIG.
  • Completion of steam raising works and boiler house routine checks.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Had a time served apprenticeship or recognised Mechanical Engineering certification/qualification, or equivalent.
