About Us:

Harbour Housing is a regional charity providing accommodation and support to those experiencing homelessness and other disadvantages across Cornwall.

We provide services and manage projects across West, Mid and East Cornwall and our goal is to empower our beneficiaries to regain their independence and work towards maintaining their own accommodation through bespoke and person-centred support.


Role Profile:


A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced administrator to join our dynamic team at our vibrant headquarters in St Austell.

The successful applicant will perform essential administrative tasks and will report directly to the Head of Finance. The right person for this role will have SAGE experience, IT literacy and strong organizational/communication skills.


Key Accountabilities:


  • Assemble and review invoices to be completed for payment
  • Produce accurate reports for the Senior Management Team
  • Payment input and administration
  • Undertake bank transfers and reconciling credit cards & petty cash transfers
  • Maintain copies invoices or correspondence necessary for audit purposes
  • Maintaining financial record (bank accounts, statements etc)
  • Dealing with payroll, expenses, pension contributions through NEST, PAYE and VAT
  • Uploading resident letters and information to our online client database and ensuring license agreements are upto date and correctly stored.
  • Maintaining various filing systems to ensure proper storage of documentation.
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure office supplies are maintained to the appropriate level and organising post and deliveries.

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone with experience using the SAGE Accounts and SAGE Payroll software.

They must be IT literate with experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint and be able to quickly learn our internal computer systems.

They must possess strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

They must be able to work within a small team and perform a wide range of finance and administrative duties.

From £22,630.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
