We are currently seeking to appoint a Website Digital Designer based at our Head Office in Stirling.


About the role:


If you are passionate about creating visually stunning and user-friendly websites that captivate and engage users then this is an exciting opportunity for you to bring creativity to life.

In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering an inspirational website, focussed on the user journey, simple to navigate and seamless to book, helping visitors to plan and book their next adventure.

If this wasn't enough, you will bring that creative flare to the future development of all our internal and in-hostel digital communications.


The post holder will have excellent visual design skills, be aware of current trends in website design and technologies, be proficient in HTML, CSS and Java Script and have a proven track record in front end website development.

A working knowledge of Umbraco would be an asset.

As you will travel to all hostels in the network, a full manual driving licence would be beneficial.

  • You will:_
  • Be able to demonstrate your ability as a website designer.
  • Have a solid understanding in User Experience (UX) and user Interface (UI) design principals and best practice.
  • Be proficient in HTML, CSS and Java Script.
  • Be familiar with front end development language and frameworks.
  • Be able to demonstrate knowledge of cross browser/device compatibility and adherence to web standards.
  • Have a strong understanding of crossbrowser and device compatibility.
  • Have excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to usersystem interactions.
  • Be up to date with the latest Web trends, techniques and technologies.
  • Have a strong understanding of User behaviour.
  • Be aware of current trends in website design and keen to bring new ideas to the table.
  • Have a knowledge of Umbraco would be an asset to the role.
  • Would suit someone who:_
  • Who has a recognised qualification in design.
  • Has creative problem solving abilities and a passion for innovation web design.
  • May have experience in video editing, animation and interactive design.
  • Has excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Great attention to detail and has the ability to multitask.
