Geography Teacher - Secondary School
We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Geography Teacher to join a fantastic school in Hounslow.

As a Geography Teacher, you will be required to deliver lessons that develop students ability in Geography and use a variety of teaching techniquessuch as whole class lessons, discussions, individual or group projects to give pupils the best education possible.

The Role:


  • Organising and directing the whole class and helping individual pupils as required
  • Setting assignments, projects, tests and exams, preparing and carrying out continuous assessment, marking pupils' work and writing reports
  • Prepare and give lessons in a range of topics such as the physical environment, world climate, rural and urban development, settlement and population studies
  • To plan differentiated lessons which match the full range of learners' needs
  • To manage the learning of students in a secure and friendly environment in which they can thrive

Requirements:


  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • Recent experience working with children in a school or alternate environment
  • Must have a strong presence and good behaviour management skills
  • Be comfortable teaching a Secondary School environment

Pay rate is dependent on qualifications, experience and skills.
