Currently, we seek a compassionate and detail-oriented person to become an Administrator/Receptionist at Southlands Independent Living Apartments, Roundhay, Leeds, contributing to our mission of making a positive impact on the lives of the people we support.
Working hours and salary
40 Hours - 5 days over 7
£11.52 per hour
What your typical day involves
- Liaising with Local and Health Authorities to ensure appropriate information and payment is received.
- Ensuring correct and complete documentation including Terms and Conditions are provided and recorded for all admissions, both for local/health authorities and people funding their own placement
- Using software to process income including cash allocation, complete banking and take appropriate action in relation to debt management.
- Safeguarding monies on behalf of the people we support and funds raised by the home, recording and reconciling transactions to bank statements.
- Ensuring effective administration of purchasing and supplier invoices, management of petty cash transactions and replenishment.
- Processing of employee related information and payroll to ensure staff information and payments are accurate and timely.
- Providing support to the Home Manager, including letter writing, memos and local management reporting.
- Maintaining a wellordered filing system, stationary replenishment and personnel file management.
- Using Microsoft Word and Excel
