Introduction
Want to make your mark on the Design world? Join IBM's Futures Design scheme to understand what it's like to be a designer in one of the world's largest design companies.
You could be doing UX Design for e-commerce mobile apps, Visual Design for the construction industry, User Research for healthcare and life sciences, or Service Design for sports clubs, just to name a few.
You'll be working alongside fantastic IBMers on real live services used by people all over the world. To us, being a Design Future at IBM is just as much about learning as it is about working.It's also quite a lot about having fun and trying new things As a Design Future you'll get a MacBook Pro to do your work, as well as access to all the latest design software and industry-leading training material to help you develop your skills.
There are so many things at IBM for you to get involved in both inside and outside of your role to really help you make the most out of your placement.
We have fantastic learning facilities, and you will have two managers along with a whole crew of design mentors and buddies to help guide and support you through your time at IBM.
As a Design Future you will be based out of our iX Studio in London, near Waterloo.Your Role and Responsibilities

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Do not have an Undergraduate Degree or are studying for one
- Achieved GCSE's at level 49 in English and Maths
- Eligible to working in the UK for the whole placement (UK/Ireland passport/ Settled or Presettled status)

About Business UnitOn an IBM University Placement, you will be working in an innovative, creative and exciting working environment.
