Head of Live Event Production and Operations

Following the successful launch of our new music and events venue "The Mount" at Wasing we are now looking for an experienced freelance producer to drive and deliver the next phase of our ambitious plan.

Launched in the summer of 2023, the treescape amphitheatre is set in the heart of nature, inviting people to connect with each other and the natural environment.

Our first year saw Jack Johnson, Gabriels, Ben Howard, Primal Scream, Sigur Ros and Xavier Rudd take to the stage with a host of amazing support acts.

As Head of Live Event Production and Operations you will bring enthusiasm and passion coupled with experience in creating something different.

A focus on project management, dealing with multiple stakeholders and good budgetary control will be essential.

Key areas of responsibility are:

Responsibility for liaising with "Show Production", including Audio, Staging, Lighting, Noise Management
Budget Responsibility for Venue, Production and Operations
Venue Curation and Art Direction
Customer Journey and On-Site Experience
Utilities and Infrastructure Planning and Delivery
Co-ordinate Groundworks and Site-build
Design and Installation of On-Site Structures
Event Management Plan and Liaison with SAG
Whole Site Logistics and Mapping
Security and Stewarding
Traffic and Car Park Management
Health, Safety and Fire
Waste Management
Food Curation, Contracting and Delivery
Bars Contracting, Liaison and Delivery
Accommodation Planning and Delivery

The role will require around 100 days per year and you will need to have good availability leading up to our events at the end of June and the middle of September, although this is a year-round role.

This is not your average venue, so you will need to be prepared to bring a lot to the party, in return you will be a part of something unique.
