Vehicle Collection and Delivery Driver:


  • We currently have a new opportunity for a vehicle collection and delivery driver to join a large vehicle bodyshop in Northampton.
You will be delivering and collecting damaged and repaired vehicles to and from customers place of work or home.


We are currently working in partnership with one of the UK's leading Independent Accident Repair groups, for an experienced vehicle Driver who is also very competent with delivering excellent customer service.


We are looking for an extremely customer focused and smart individual with excellent interpersonal skills to assist with checking in procedures, delivery and return of vehicles and in the final valeting of vehicles post repair.


As a Vehicle collection and delivery driver, you will be responsible for taking vehicles back to a customer, as well as checking vehicles in and out of the repair centre.


The Job:
Vehicle Recovery Driver

  • As a Vehicle collection driver, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering vehicles that have been repaired or are due to be repaired, to and from customers' homes and back to the vehicle repair centre.
  • You will be attending to customer's needs regarding collection and delivery of vehicles to our own high standards.
  • As a Driver, you will need to be smart, presentable and a good communicator and as you will be in a customer facing role when collecting and delivering vehicles.
  • You will be required to take images of the vehicle upon receipt, and get it signed off with the customer.
  • It is very important you can maintain this centre high standards and image to help promote and increase their customer service scores.
  • You will need to be able to handle the physical aspect of loading cars on and off a vehicle and be able to work in a very fast paced environment.

Vehicle collection & Recovery Driver Experience Required:

  • Customer facing experience
  • A clean driving licence
  • Excellent customer service
  • The ability to be organised and be able to multitask.
  • Bodyshop background would be a distinct advantage.
