Seven Social Care is working with Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council to recruit for an Occupational Therapy Team Manager for their Out of Hospital and Supporting Independence Service.
This job is paying a generous rate of £45 per hour - initial rolling 3 month contract.Job Purpose:
Whilst the Job Description covers Principal OT duties, we are prepared to focus on operational management at this time and thus, Team Manager position (which is the same grade level).
Duties:
We are looking for a manager with social-care occupational therapy experience and knowledge to step into our Occupational Therapy Team Manager role to cover a vacancy in Solihull.
Responsible for managing a team which includes Community OTs, Early Intervention OTs at our One Front Door, Housing OTs and a small number of Childrens OTs, the post is supported by 3 Assistant Team Managers and reports to Head of Service, who is also anOT.
We are interested in hearing from Occupational Therapists with experience in social care OT, and have a good knowledge of legislation, adaptations practice, equipment use and role, moving and handling practices but importantly, experience of managing a teamof diverse and differing-levels of expertise practitioners.
We are a dynamic and developing service, with very dedicated staff and a directorate-recognition of the value of OT and would like to meet and talk with suitably qualified and experienced Occupational Therapists with social care and management experience.
Applicant Requirements:

Qualifications:Degree approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Experience:Occupational Therapy Team Manager experience.

Compliance:Up to date HCPC registration and DBS.

Travel:Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.

Hours:37 hours p/w.
