Role:
Teaching Assistant


Pay:
Starts at £ £12 per hour


Location:
SA5 Swansea


Hours: 08:30am - 3:30pm (Monday to Friday)

**Main Roles & Responsibilities

  • Encouraging and supporting the work set by the class teacher.
  • Shadow pupils during play learning throughout the day and potentially during lunch time.
  • Supporting with play learning and getting involved with all activities
  • During the day you may need to prevent potential disruption that may occur, deescalating situations
  • To give positive encouragement, feedback, and praise to reinforce pupils efforts and develop selfesteem.
  • Promote the inclusion of pupils and encourage pupils to interact with each other.
  • Positive, energetic, and patient.
  • Has the ability to use their own initiative
  • Positive with play learning
  • Happy to provide Personal care to young children
  • Passionate for working within the EYFS
  • Able to keep calm under pressure.
  • Motivational and has a supportive nature.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
