PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER

PERMANENT ROLE

THORNBURY
£27,400PA

We are proud to be recruiting for one of our fantastic clients based in the Thornbury area. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor looking for their next secure role.

This role involves working in a manufacturing environment, so previous experience in this sort of setting is advantageous.

Your role would entail leading the production processes in the production department of the company.

You would be working alongside the production manager in order to ensure that all KPI's are being hit and HS&E policies are being adhered to.


This is still a hands on role, meaning that around 80% of the role includes factory presence involving line performing/ production functions.


This role will involve working a shift pattern, so you must be flexible in terms of working days and hours.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited too;

  • Managing a team, and ensuring they are achieving the departmental KPI's set
  • Continuous improvement of working processes
  • Staff training
  • Cost control
I am looking to speak with anyone who has the following attributes;

  • Experience with Optical products
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Solid experience in ISO 14001, 18001 & ISO 45001 Management systems
  • Ability to work alone, unsupervised.
  • Working with production machinery
  • Managing a team
