A fantastic opportunity as a Test Engineer has arisen for a technology provider to the market research industry. They use cutting edge technology to help our clients gain a deeper insight into the digital lives of consumers.

They are looking for a Test Engineer or Test Analyst to join the engineering team to help test the functional aspects, data integrity components, performance and data collection methods of the clients apps on various devices.

Test Engineers prepare and executemanual and automated tests, raise defects and perform analysis, write reports and conduct exploratory exercises.

The role is hybrid based in Trafford Park, they offer excellent benefits

Essential Requirements:

Experience of performing data analysis
Experience with automated testing
Ability to solve problems and find information independently
Hands on skills in using various Operating Systems including Android and iOS
Good communication skills
Strong experience of mobile and desktop devices
ISTQB Foundation Test certification
Experience with SQL queries of databases for data extraction

This role will involve the following:

Understanding requirements and acceptance criteria
Interpreting software development specifications and design documents
Reproducing issues experienced by users
Analysis of test data output and results
Working alongside developer, tester, user experience and other roles
Adhering to company policies and procedures with respect to security, quality, and health and safety.
Training for further testing qualifications can be provided.

Desirable Skills

Experience building or using consumer measurement products.
A deep understanding of consumer data capture, processing and reporting.
Knowledge and or experience of entertainment industry data sets and insight products.
An understanding of the content licensing industry.
Experience working with partner organisations and complex value chains.
