Role Overview:

Unload/load deliveries and collections using a forklift
Load skips using a tele handler
Assist with the unloading of vans/lorries and reloading in the mornings and evenings
Segregate and process the waste from site for recycling purposes.
General housekeeping in the yard, power washing, salting etc.
Maintain a safe, clean and organised yard at all times.
Ensure Safe Working Practices at all times by adhering to our Health, Safety and Environmental policies and guidelines.
Any other duties deemed necessary by management

Personnel Specification:

Essential Criteria:

A valid Driver's Licence
Experience in a similar role

Desirable Criteria:

A valid Forklift licence
A telescopic handler licence

Personal Characteristics:

Ability to build and maintain relationships
Excellent Communication Skills
Excellent negotiation skills
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to work within specified timeframes
Ability to use own initiative
Ability to work as part of a team
